Acts 9

Acts 9

“Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him. And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ And he said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And he said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. ’” Acts 9:3-5

Are you running away from God? It’s just a matter of time that you experience your appointed intervention. God will get your attention, one way or another. In this case, Saul had been running away from the deep probing of the Holy Spirit. God had been revealing that the very people Saul were persecuting, were in fact, the people of Jehovah. Jesus had been convicting him. All the while, Saul had been running from what God.

God is in the business of unveiling his will and revealing his person. He appointed work for every single one of us. The question is, Will we answer the convictions of the Holy Spirit? May we be willing vessels, willing to honor and serve not our own will but the will of God. “For the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord.”
