Mark 11

And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it. 8 And many spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches that they had cut from the fields” Mark 11:7-8

The Triumphal Entry was a monumental moment in time. However, this was one of many prophecies foretold hundreds before this event actually happened. Reflecting from Zechariah 9:9, the prophet wrote, “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Considering this verse along with the other 60 that clearly specify details of who the Messiah would be, it is hard to dispute any argument that Jesus is not who He said He is—the Son of God and the Savior of the world.
