Philippians 2

Philippians 2 – He is Worthy

“Though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” Philippians 2:6-8

The Omnipotent one, who was the host of heaven and possesses all power in the palm of His hand, descended into the earth.

The God of creation, who spoke life into existence, became His creation, a mortal man.

The holy, righteous God, humbled himself as a servant, a servant to a sin-plagued humanity.

The Giver of Life, who was the light of men and submitted Himself to death, even the death on the cross.

My friend, what more do you want from the God who loves you? Does He not deserve your attention?  Should He not capture your whole heart? May you follow him with all your being– for He is worthy.
